Our team met through shared experiences in rigorous AP courses, where we saw firsthand how challenging these classes can be. Many students had to navigate difficult concepts on their own—relying on trial, error, and countless late-night study sessions without the right support.

That journey inspired us to create ASK Tutoring: a service dedicated to providing the guidance we wished we had. Our core values are simple: patience, positivity, and commitment. We tailor our tutoring sessions to each student’s needs, ensuring they develop a deep understanding of concepts rather than just memorizing facts. By making complex ideas clear, we help students build the long-term skills needed to excel in their AP courses and exams.

Meet the Founders
Alfonso J. Cruz Bonilla
Hi, I’m Alfonso, co-founder of ASK Tutoring. I believe education is the most valuable investment because knowledge—and how we apply it—is our greatest asset.
​
With a passion for learning and teaching, I started ASK Tutoring to help students excel in AP classes and build a strong academic foundation for college. Before launching this service, I spent years tutoring peers in physics, calculus, and other challenging subjects, refining a patient, real-world approach that helps students master problem-solving beyond just memorizing formulas.
​
Having excelled in 19 AP classes myself, I understand the common struggles AP students face. That’s why ASK Tutoring is designed to provide personalized, one-on-one support that strengthens understanding, boosts confidence, and prepares students to achieve their desired AP scores. My goal is to empower students with the strategies and skills they need to succeed—not just on tests, but in any challenge they take on.
Beyond tutoring, I’m pursuing a career in engineering with a focus on infrastructure, manufacturing, and sustainability. But my true mission is to help students reach their full potential, because investing in education is investing in the future.
Srijan R. Ganta
Hello! I’m Srijan, a dedicated student, tutor, and aspiring physician passionate about education and mentorship.​

I co-founded ASK Tutoring with Kenneth and Alfonso to provide personalized AP tutoring. Inspired by our own academic challenges and the need for better student support, we aim to create an environment where students feel empowered, confident, and equipped with the skills to succeed.​
​
Having taken 16 AP courses and 3 UF Dual enrollment courses, I’ve developed a deep understanding of rigorous academics and the strategies needed to excel. With a strong background in biology, neuroscience, and clinical research, I approach learning with strategy, adaptability, and curiosity. ​

Through ASK Tutoring, I aim to help students overcome academic hurdles and reach their full potential.​

Kenneth Wu
Hi, I’m Kenneth, a senior at Lake Nona High School, where I’ve spent my academic career diving deep into the fields that intrigue me most, with a particular focus on chemistry. As an aspiring neurologist, I’m passionate about understanding the complexities of the brain and how its intricate processes affect human behavior and cognition.
Over the course of high school, I’ve pushed myself to grow academically, challenging myself with 28 college-level courses, ranging from AP Computer Science to AP Chemistry and Microbiology. Beyond the classroom, I’ve engaged in various extracurricular activities, from STEM projects to computer science competitions, and have honed my critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Through ASK Tutoring, I’m able to channel my passion for learning into helping others succeed. I’ve seen firsthand how the right guidance can unlock a student’s potential, and I’m dedicated to creating an environment where every peer feels supported in their academic journey.
